By plane:

Alternatively, you can fly to nearby airports in Venice Treviso, Trieste, or Zagreb, all with good ground connections to Ljubljana.

From Venice Treviso and Trieste, you can also take a shuttle service such as TripstAir, which provides direct transfers to Ljubljana.

By bus:

Ljubljana is well connected by international coach services, including FlixBus, with direct routes from many European cities.
